Old Slave Mart Museum

This Charleston Slave Museum tells the story of Charleston's role in the inter-state slave trade by focusing on the history of the Old Slave Mart and the slave sales that occurred there. Slave auctions ended at the Old Slave Mart in Nove of 1863. Today the mart is filled with shops and vendors for Charleston's visitors to enjoy.
