Atlantic Cup Kicks Off in Charleston SC
May 24 - 28, 2016
The Atlantic Cup presented by 11th Hour Racing is the United States’ premier and only dedicated Class 40 sailing race. The race showcases some of the top Class 40 sailors in the U.S. and world as they compete in the 3-leg event. The boats will be docked at City Marina from May 24 - 27, 2016. Stop by, check out the fleet and say hi to the teams as they make their final preparations. On May 26th, the Atlantic Cup will host kids from all over Charleston for an up close look at the boats and a special meet and greet with the sailors. The race starts at 12PM on Saturday, May 28th just off the Charleston Maritime Center. The best vantage point from land is the park next to the Maritime Center at the corner of Inspection and Wharfside Streets. Come down to the Maritime Center and bid farewell to the teams as they head north for the 642-nautical mile run to Brooklyn! Click here for additional information about the Atlantic Cup.

Multiple Grammy® Award-winning, Golden Globe nominated singer and songwriter Chris Cornell today announced the second U.S. leg of his critically acclaimed Higher Truth World Tour. The tour will kick off on June 16 in Clearwater, FL and travel up the East Coast through the Midwest and up to the Pacific Northwest before winding down on July 27th in Winnipeg, Manitoba. One dollar from each ticket sold will support the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation, which is currently raising funds and partnering with charitable organizations to mobilize support for children facing problems including homelessness, poverty, abuse, and neglect.
